Pearson is one of the world's leading publishers of educational
guides and text books and now Babcock is working with Pearson in
the creation of their new title for Level 1 & 2 Light Vehicle
learners, both as a handbook and as a training resource disk and
e-learning disc. Expertise and content is being supplied by Babcock
from three key members of the project, namely, Catherine Whittaker,
Sarah Harrison and Eric Sykes. This material includes the following
subjects:
- Health and Safety
- Tools and equipment
- Light vehicle construction and maintenance
- The light vehicle industry
- Light vehicle service and inspection
We're delighted to be sharing the expertise that we use in the
delivery of our leading apprenticeship programmes for use by other
providers and colleges. These new resources are available
nationally from July 2011. Further development of the automotive
resource will be a series of videos that will be added to 'The
Knowledge' for the diagnosis and inspection of vehicle systems.
